School District Monitors Morning Weather

With snow and sleet predicted overnight, district will keep an eye on weather for delayed openings Tuesday morning.

More snow and sleet are expected to fall overnight starting late Monday, and the National Weather Service has issued a for all of Long Island. 

In preparation for what is expected to be a rough morning commute, the posted the following bulletin on their website Monday evening:

"We are monitoring the weather situation, and will post updated information as necessary."

As of 9:45 p.m. Monday, all schools within the district are scheduled to start on time Tuesday morning.

Some area schools such as Half Hollow Hills have notified parents of a possible 2-hour start delay Tuesday.
