School District Reports Telephone, Internet Outage

As of 2:30 p.m., crews still working to restore service.

The Commack School District is without telephone and Internet service Friday afternoon, according to an email alert sent out by the district. The outage began Thursday night, with a notification sent out by the district predicting that service would be restored in time for school on Friday morning.

As of 2:30 p.m. Friday, crews were still working to repair service. It is not clear if the outage is weather-related. 

The telephones are working at the Hubbs District Office, and cacn be reached at 631-912-2000. Parents are encouraged to use this number in the case of an emergency.
