Spotlight: Tennis Tournament Takes Aim at Autism Awareness

Watch Commack teachers and students take to the court for a charitable cause June 7.

Commack residents are invited down to watch teachers and students pair up on the court in name of a charitable cause. 

The Commack Cougars varsity boys tennis team will be hosting an on June 7 from 2:45 p.m. - 5 p.m. at . 

The event will feature more than 14 players from the Commack varsity boys tennis team playing alongside their favorite teacher on the courts, attempting to take aim at raising autism awareness.

Raffles will be sold for approximately 30 baskets whose winners will be randomly selected during the event. 

The Commack boys tennis team finished their spring season in second place in League I, then finishing in fourth in the Suffolk County playoffs.

All fund raised from the raffles will be given to a local Commack autism school to help provide for its students.
