Two Candidates Run for Board of Education Seat

Vice President Deborah Guber will run against challenger Daniel Fusco for the title of trustee.

Two candidates will vie for a seat on Commack's Board of Education during this year's school elections. 

Deborah Guber, current vice president of Commack Board of Education, will run for re-election. She will face off against district resident Daniel Fusco, who handed in a completed petition to run for trustee on April 16. The petition required the signatures of at least 85 qualified school district voters. 

Guber has served on Commack's Board of Education for the last six years.

Fusco is a lifelong Commack resident and district alumni Class of 1983. He has two children within the school district, students of Commack Middle School and Commack High School.  As a surety consultant and project manager, Fusco feels he has many skills he can bring to the table for the Commack School district. 

Commack residents will have the chance to vote on their Board of Education representation, as well as , on May 15.
