Where Commack High Grads Are Headed

Many got scholarships, many are leaving New York, and one is leaving the country.

Of the over 600 members of the Commack High School senior class, 99.5 percent graduated on June 27 according to Principal Russell Stewart. Those students won over $20.5 million in scholarship money for college and five have accepted full-time employment opportunities.  You can view the full list by downloading the PDF attached to this article, but here are some quick facts about the CHS class of 2010.

  • One student will be attending McGill University–in Quebec, Canada.
  • Almost half of the class is attending a state school, city school or community college, with Suffolk County Community College accepting over 150 graduates.
