A visit to The National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame and Museum is a great family activity for those days when April showers prevent you from going outdoors.

Located within the , the museum serves as an homage to Jewish athletes and individuals who have made an impact on the sports world throughout the country.

The hall of fame and museum includes a roster of legendary inductees including Hank Greenberg and George Young, and the list grows every year. Visitors can learn about the history of each inductee and their career accomplishments and admire the sports memorabilia on display in the hallway of the building.

Just last week, the hall of fame welcomed it's newest inductees the. Strat-O-Matic inventor Hal Richman and Olympic gold medalist Steve Mesler were among those honored.

This past October, the museum in honor of the 75th birthday of baseball legend Sandy Koufax, which was turned into a book by Hall of Fame and Museum Director Alan Freedman.
