Football season is finally here.
Labor Day has passed, signally the starts of the fall sports season. The National Football League celebrated its opening day on Wednesday night, and the Commack Cougars are preparing for their chance to line up on the field.
The Cougars will play in Division I in Suffolk County this year, under the leadership of their head coach Joe Reggio. Commack will kick off its season Friday night by traveling to Patchogue-Medford.
