Commack Kickline Nearly Sweeps Competition

Middle and high school teams take first in 5 classes

Commack's middle and high school kickline teams had an impressive showing Sunday at the Long Island-wide Kickline Competition at Uniondale High School, taking first place in five classes and placing second in a sixth.

The middle school team took first place in the Kickline For Middle Schools and Dance For Middle Schools classes.

Commack High School's team won the Dance For High Schools, Kickline For High Schools With 18-36 Members, and Pom For High Schools With 18-36 Members classes.

In a huge upset, the high school kickline team came in second to Half Hollow Hills HS West in the Hip Hop For High Schools class. Commack has placed first in this category three times over the past four years.
