The Commack Cougars varsity football squad beat Sachem North 31-28 on Friday in a marathon game that saw three overtime periods.
According to MSG Varsity, the game ended on a 31-yard field goal by senior Billy Holscher.
The win set off a frenzy of posts on Twitter from locals and students celebrating the win.
"Not gonna lie, that Commack vs. Sachem north game was pretty insane," wrote one fan.
Commack moves to 5-0 on the season.
