Cougars Football Loses to Connetquot, 42-12

Commack varsity football team earns a 1-1 record to start their 2012 football season.


The Commack varsity football team lost to Connetquot in its first home game of the 2012 season on Saturday.

The Commack Cougars lost 42-21 to Connetquot, bringing their overall record to an even 1-1 in Division I football. 

According to MSG Varsity, Commack scored one touchdown in each of the first three quarters. Jesse Kilmens scored a on a 1-yard run, followed by John Donovan in the second quarter with a 2-yard run for the Cougars' second touchdown. Quarterback Ryan Heizman completed an 11-yard pass to Paulie Maline for the team's third and final touchdown. 

The Cougars will travel to take on Sachem East this Saturday at 6 p.m. It's Homecoming day for Sachem East.

You dont like HS football ? Cmon let the kids play football, be cheerleaders, be in the band - its not the 18th century you know. Whether you need more paid coaches,assistants, trainers,supervisors,etc than kids on the field is another story.
