Teens from Commack, Hauppauge and St. James traveled to Myrtle Beach, SC for the tournament.
The Long Island Prospects 13u baseball team traveled to Myrtle Beach, SC in late July to take part in the Big Kahuna Tournament at Cal Ripkin Stadium.
From Sunday, July 17 to Friday, July 22 the team played 9 games in 5 days in temperatures that soared past 100 degrees and were undefeated. They played opponents from 6 states and broughtthe Championship Title back home to Long Island.
Joe Kellman and Ryan Morganlanger of Hauppauge, Sal Venuti and Michael Guaglione of Commack, and St. James' own Pat Lagravinese were among the champions.
