Fall sports are in full swing and Commack Cougars took to the fields over the past week. Here's our wrap-up of the scores.
Commack varsity football beat Central Islip with a dominating 44-12 win on Saturday, bringing their overall record to 3-2 in Division I. It is the first time this season that the Commack Cougars have a winning record, a streak they hope to continue.
On the soccer fields, Commack boys varsity soccer team suffered a loss to Brentwood on Oct. 4, falling 0-1. It is only the second loss of the season for the team, who is seated in third place in Division I with a 4-2-1 record.
Commack girls gymnastics had a hard-fought loss to Ward Melville on Oct. 4. The Cougars lose by a narrow margin, 162.55 points to 169.425. The girls gymnastics will continue on, competing against Kings Park on Thursday.
