Shelter Pet of the Week: Tuxedo Cat Needs a Home

Armstrong needs a special indoor home with owners that understand his handicap.

Armstrong is a domestic short hair male that has been neutered and needs a home.

The Smithtown Animal Shelters said Armstrong is a lovable one-and-a-half- year old handsome black and white tuxedo cat.

He was picked up as a stray by the shelter when he was around 4 months old after he was hit by a car and suffered an injury to his front leg. He went straight to the vet and he was diagnosed with radial nerve damage to his front right leg.

Armstrong never lets his bum leg get him down. He can play, jump and run just as much as any other cat. He needs a special indoor only home with owners that understand his handicap. He would make a wonderful addition to any home. Armstrong can be a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you he will purr up a storm.

To adopt Armstrong, call the Smithtown Animal Shelter at 631-360-7575.
