Daylight Saving Time may have come to an end, but there's still plenty of daylight on the weekend to have some fun. Here's a few events happening in the area this weekend:
COMMACK
Football Playoffs
Undefeated Commack will take on Brentwood this Saturday at 1 p.m. in the qualifying round of the Suffolk County playoffs at Commack High School. The Cougars finished season play, 8-0, last weekend. There have been only two other times in Commack history, in which the team was undefeated going into the playoffs. The first was in 1966, and the second was about 30 years ago, Coach Joe Reggio estimated.

Commack High School Presents, ‘Arsenic and Old Lace’
Enjoy the Commack High School’s production of ‘Arsenic and Old Lace’ this Friday and Saturday, at 7:30 p.m. in the High School auditorium. Tickets are $10, and can be purchased at the door or by calling (631) 912-2170.

Thanksgiving Food Drive at Stop & Shop
The PAL Jr. Islanders and Island Harvest have teamed up to make Thanksgiving feel a bit fuller for local families in need with a food drive at Stop & Shop (3126 Jericho Tpke., East Northport) Sunday, starting at 11 a.m. Residents are asked to help provide Thanksgiving and holiday dinners to families in need. Each pre-packaged box is $10. Shoppers do not need to search the aisles for items on a list.HAUPPAUGE
Football Playoffs
The No. 5 seed Hauppauge Eagles travel to Huntington on Saturday at 1 p.m. to take on the No. 4 seed in the division in the first round of the Suffolk County Division III football playoffs.
The Magic and Comedy of Jim McClenahan

Football Playoffs
Cheer on No.2-seeded Smithtown West Bulls football team as they host North Babylon this Friday, 6 p.m. in the first round of Suffolk’s Class AA playoffs. On Saturday, cheer on the No.6-seeded East Smithtown Bulls as they travel to play East Islip at 1 p.m.
Eagle Scout Fundraiser
Hunt down treasures at a yard sale one more time this fall as an Eagle Scout yard sale fundraiser takes place this Saturday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m, at 2 Storybook Lane in St. James. The goal is to raise $1,400 to help rebuild a new bird cage for a nearby animal preserve.
Prepare your taste buds for The Wine Guy’s 4th annual Grand Wine Tasting at 1 p.m. Saturday in Smithtown. There will be samples of more than 100 wines including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlots, Chardonnays and sparkling wines. The event will includes music, food and more.
Head down to Napper Tandy’s in Smithtown on Saturday at 5 p.m. for the Michael J. Sullivan Foundation’s Fundraiser. Cover charge is $20, buffet included with proceeds helping create a scholarship fund in memory of the late Michael "Sully" Sullivan, a member of Northport High School's Class of 1982.
Try your luck at a game of chance at Smithtown West Varsity Whisperettes Vegas Night fundraiser on Saturday, from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. Tickets cost $75 which includes 1,000 game chips, dinner and dessert. Event to benefit The Smithtown Children’s Foundation.
Laugh until your sides hurt at the third annual Night of Comedy, featuring Christopher Brian Roach, Chris Monty and Les Bayer, to benefit the Smithtown Rotary Club on Friday, from 7:30 p.m. - 10:30p.m. Tickets are $35 which includes appetizers and a cash bar.
KINGS PARK
Meet Angel Armas of Dance Moms
This Saturday is your opportunity to meet Angel Armas of the popular Lifetime TV show “Dance Moms Miami” at Kings Park Dance Center from 2 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Armas will be teaching two master classes, with two of his featured studio dances and two meet-and-greets.
Farmers Market
