  • Join LA Boxing for its grand re-opening celebration as UFC Gym this Saturday, from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. There will be free classes, raffles, give-a-ways and more.

  • Catch some live music at Perfecto Mundo at 7:30 p.m. on Friday featuring the sounds of Tim Da Costa. On Sundays, have an original portrait painted of you while you sit back and sip a beverage from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Cost is $40 - 70.

  • Smithtown Recreation Program offers a pre-school readiness program  for children ages 18 months - 5 years, participate with a caregiver on Friday.

  • Looking for a fun thing to do with your friends on a Friday night? Head to the Mills Pond House for a fun night of art making for Kids Night Out.  Have a fantastic Friday night while parents get a free night to themselves.  Children, ages 7 -10,can make a piggy bank out of recycled materials. RSVP in advance, $20.

  • Aaah, those summer nights. Catch a performance of Grease this weekend at the Smithtown Theater.

  • Hauppauge High School Cheerleaders are holding a car wash this Saturday in the high school’s front circle. Stop by to get your vehicle scrubbed clean, money goes towards the team’s trip to attend Universal Cheerleaders Association Nationals.

Live Music

  • When it comes to al fresco dining this summer, Blend Wine and Tapas is the place to be. Live music fills the outdoor patio Thursday through Saturday at the restaurant, located at 321 Nesconset Hwy., in Hauppauge. This weekend, features Greg Varro on Friday, Deuces Wild on Saturday and wraps up the weekend with Erin Chase on Sunday.
