This Weekend: Bowling for Bucks; Casino Night

A look at events and activities happening this weekend around town.

Bowling for Bucks Sunday

Commack School District will hold a “Bowling for Bucks” fundraising event this year to support the Special Olympics Games on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Commack Vet Lanes. More than 600 athletes will participate in the games at Commack High School in May. Click here to sign up.

Farmers Market Sunday

The winter farmers market offers certified organic vegetables and greens including Long Island corn, heirloom tomatoes, potatoes, squash and onions, fresh fruits and juices and more. The market, located at the Suffolk Y JCC at 74 Hauppauge Road, is open every Sunday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. until Feb. 23.

Casino Night
Nesconset Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Casino Night on Friday, from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m at the Wind Watch Golf Club in Hauppauge. Tickets cost $100. The proceeds will be used to purchase additional street lights for Smithtown Boulevard.
