I think you hit the nail on the head Gracefullife. The book is about common sense advice which is…Read More probably why its words have the potential to have a great dead of impact. It's reinforcing the concepts that we too easy forget.

As a nutritionist and personal trainer for over ten years, the information found in this book is…Read More merely common sense. It's a good reminder for people who may have forgotten portion control or simply needed motivation or a reminder, but I did not find it ground-breaking. I have known the author since high school and her figure has always been what medical standards would define as underwieght but as stated by the family memeber/friend above, some of this may be attributed to her choices, while the majority of it is most likely genetic. Regardless, one should not focus soley on the author's appearance when making a choice to purchase a book. If you are not in a position to spend money on an e-book, you can find the same information on free sites such as Dr. Oz.com or seek out a medical professional who can guide you in designing a health plan that fits your physical and medical needs.

The Linemen are not to blame here, they follow orders and do the work allocated to them by…Read More management. If anyone is to blame at LIPA, it's management, who should have learned a lesson when Irene hit us last year, but instead, kept cutting back on resources and manpower leaving themselves unprepared for a disaster on this scale.
One of the managers already resigned and once Cuomo starts ripping LIPA apart, more will follow. LIPA serves the people of Long Island as its name implies and failed miserably to keep that vital service up and running. Those who made poor decisions, should get fired as someone needs to be held accountable. This is a prime example of what happens when a billion dollar corporation only thinks about numbers and puts money first ahead of the people they serve.
