I was born in Manhasset and have lived on Long Island my entire life, for a short while in Syosset and mostly in Dix Hills. My first experience with journalism was entering a Goosebumps contest (the horror books R.L. Stine wrote) in fifth grade.
It wasn't until freshman year of college that I really gave journalism any consideration, and I've been writing at a frantic pace ever since to make up for lost time. Besides writing, I like exercise, delicious food and visiting Montauk as frequently as possible.
