Daniel Tacktill, Neighbor

Daniel Tacktill, who joined Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in 2006, focuses on developing a true understanding of clients’ goals and objectives and applying this knowledge through each of his every recommendations. His approach to clients is hands-on, emphasizing frequent communication and regular reviews. 

As an Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. Financial Advisor, Daniel offers clients strategies to address various investment and financial issues. He works with clients to help develop various types of financial recommendations to facilitate retirement, college funding and estate planning strategies. 

In January of 2010, Daniel was selected by <i>Long Island Business News</i> as a &#34;40 Under 40&#34; award recipient. Each year, <i>Long Island Business News</i> honors forty Long Island professionals under the age of forty for their business leadership and community involvement.

Prior to joining Oppenheimer, Daniel held positions both at UBS and Compass Bank.  He is a graduate of The University of North Florida with a degree in Business. He holds a General Securities Representative License (Series 7), the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam (Series 63) and the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Exam (Series 65). He is licensed as an agent for Life, Health and Variable Annuities in the states of Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey and New York.  He has also earned the designation of Acredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), awarded by the center for Fiduciary Studies.

Daniel currently resides in Kings Park, New York. He is an active participant in his community and a member of several nonprofit boards.
