Chris Quagliata, 19, may be fresh out of Commack High School, but he is no stranger to the buy, sell and trade business.

The Commack grad has been bidding on storage lockers and selling goods on e-Bay for the past few years, sometimes turning a tidy profit.

He recently decided to make his business official and last week grand opened his store Quag's in the Morewood shopping center in Smithtown.

If you are familiar with the show Storage Wars, you've seen the trash to treasure stories. Quagliata said what he dOes is a lot like that, except without all the drama.

His most interesting recent find was a collection if vintage Coca-Cola items mixed in with some old furniture in an abandoned storage unit he successfully bid on.

"I paid about $850 for the locker and the stuff is probably worth about $4,000," said Quagliata.

Becoming an entrepreneur as a teen doesn't intimidate Quagliata, it's in his blood. His dad owns Quagliata's Deli just a few doors down in the same shopping center.

The shop is filled with vintage goodies and changes weekly. Customers can also shop with him online on Craigslist and e-Bay.
