Commack Resident Honored for Lifelong Commitment to Scouts
Floyd Sarisohn is recognized for his efforts to support local youth.
A Commack resident, along with two others, was recently recognized by the Suffolk County Council of Boy Scouts of America, for his continued commitment to the organization and leadership within the community.
Floyd Sarisohn, Senior Partner in the law firms of both Sarisohn Law Partners LLP and Sarisohn, Carner LeBow and DeVita, is an Eagle Scout and has been a member of the Order of the Arrow since 1942.
Also honored this year were Cathleen Hansen (East Setauket) and David Hunt (Fort Salonga).
All three were awarded the 2013 Distinguished Citizen Award. The Distinguished Citizens Award recognizes noteworthy and extraordinary leadership of citizens in communities.
